1. Introduction
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the ABC Companion Co. Ltd. website, platforms, and any services related to B.E.N – Behavioural Enhanced Navigator (“B.E.N”, “devices”, “services”).
By accessing or using our website, creating an account, or participating in any B.E.N pilot or service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
2. Who We Are
ABC Companion Co. Ltd. (“ABC”, “we”, “us”, “our”) is a company registered in England and Wales, Company Number 16684359, developing behavioural companion devices under the brand B.E.N – Behavioural Enhanced Navigator.
Our registered office is at: Bartle House, 9 Oxford Court, Manchester, M2 3WQ, United Kingdom.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, or have the consent and supervision of a parent/guardian, to use our services or participate in any pilots. By using our services, you confirm you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
4. Accounts and Security
Some current or future features may require creating an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate and up-to-date information.
- Keep your login credentials confidential.
- Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account, unless you have notified us of compromise.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use our site, services, or any B.E.N device to:
- Engage in unlawful, abusive, fraudulent, or harmful behaviour.
- Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of our systems without permission.
- Interfere with or disrupt the operation of the site, services, or other users’ experience.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code where not permitted by law.
- Misuse B.E.N outputs to manipulate, harass, or exploit others.
6. Behavioural Companions, Not Clinicians
B.E.N devices and related software are designed as behavioural companions and stabilising tools. They are not medical devices, and they do not provide professional mental health, medical, legal, or crisis services.
Nothing presented by B.E.N should be interpreted as:
- A diagnosis.
- A treatment plan.
- A substitute for professional advice from a qualified clinician or emergency service.
If you feel at risk, in crisis, or unable to cope, you should contact emergency services, a medical professional, or a trusted human support network immediately. B.E.N is intended as a companion — a stabilising guide — not a replacement for human care.
7. Pilot Programmes and Experimental Features
Certain features, prototypes, or devices may be offered as part of closed pilots, trials, or beta testing. By participating in any pilot or experimental programme, you acknowledge that:
- Services may be incomplete, occasionally unstable, or subject to change without notice.
- We may monitor and log interactions in a privacy-respecting way to improve system stability and safety.
- We may modify, suspend, or end pilot access at any time.
Any formal pilot will be accompanied by additional participant information and consent documentation.
